Building a stronger San Diego takes connection, collaboration, and a willingness to work across differences.
NBC 7 San Diego highlighted the launch of OneSD, a regional coalition created to bring organizations and community leaders together to strengthen connection, collaboration, and trust across the region.
The May 12 launch brought together more than 350 people at UC San Diego Park & Market as community leaders introduced OneSD and its vision for a more connected San Diego. Since the launch, the coalition has grown to 100+ organizations working across sectors and communities.
A Coalition Built for Connection
OneSD brings organizations together to strengthen trust, connection, and collaboration across the San Diego region.
Many of the challenges facing San Diego cross organizational, geographic, and community boundaries. OneSD creates a space for organizations to share ideas, build relationships, and identify opportunities to work together.
The May launch marked an important step in that effort.
The event also introduced the OneSD Baseline Report, which examines community connection and trust across the region and provides a foundation for the coalition’s work.
Bringing San Diego Together
OneSD brings together organizations with different missions, communities, and areas of expertise.
That diversity creates opportunities for organizations to learn from one another and find areas where collaboration can strengthen their collective impact.
The coalition focuses on building the relationships and infrastructure needed to help San Diegans connect across communities and work together on issues that affect the region.
